Marcos Gonzalez "Chikle" Lead Guitar Marcos was inspired by the movie La Bamba in which Ritchie Valens became his hero and Idol. Ritchie put his entire soul into each one of his songs. The love and applaues that the fans offered him at that moment became what Marcos wanted in his life. Marcos began at the age of eleven. In the beginning it was just simple local and school affiliated bands performances. It was not until high school that he began playing jazz. Jazz was the challenge that would lead him to greater levels. Marcos took private lessons from Ric Ilejay, former guitarist from Earth, Wind and Fire, Lenny kravitz and many others. It was a life changing experience that gave him the guidance necessary for his career. From there Marcos went to Musician Institute (M.I.) to further his education. At M.I. Marcos studied various styles with some of the leading industry muscians including private lessons from Paul Gilbert(Racer X) and Marry Friedman(Megadeth). At the age of nineteen Marcos did his first professional audition with an artist named Jerra. He was hired to record and tour all over the U.S and Canada. Marcos sponsorships include Daisy rock and Mesa Boogie. Marcos currently has been working with upcoming artists such as Ninel Conde, Ignacio Val, Noelia, and Gabby Villanueva. Working with these great artists Marcos has been privelaged to play in many sold out arenas and appeared and performed on numerous TV shows. Check out his personal site at www.myspace.com/gunz86
